During The Swedish Radiology Week 2011 hosted in Umeå, Jonathan Kruger held a presentation about different methods for collecting patient radiation dose history.

Two different techniques were compared; DICOM Modality Performed Procedure Step [MPPS] and DICOM Radiation Dose Structured Reports [Dose-SR]. Jonathan’s conclusion was that both methods will be used for recording radiation dose values for some time ahead.
