Jonathan Kruger

Jonathan Kruger is responsible for Krucom’s training courses. He was one of the founders of Krucom back in 1993 and as a developer of integration software he has seen the DICOM standard evolve. One of Jonathan’s strong beliefs is that the DICOM Standard is full of potential and possibilities but these are hidden in a thick mist of discouraging jargon. Jonathan achieves a successful class by:

Focusing on the parts of DICOM that are relevant to the attending individuals.
Providing real world examples of how DICOM is used.
Encouraging the participant to play an active part in the class.

The objective is to equip each participant with the knowledge and desire to continue discovering more about what DICOM has to offer.

DICOM for Users

The course is aimed at those who require basic understanding of what DICOM can do for users of medical imaging equipment. Emphasis is put into explaining functionality and Conformance Statements rather than reciting paragraphs.

Level – Beginner
Audience – sales representatives, application specialists, purchasers, doctors, nurses.
Duration – One day

DICOM for Engineers

The intended audience is for those who need a basic technical understanding of DICOM. Emphasis is put into discussing and analysing every day DICOM problems and troubleshooting.

Level – Intermediate
Audience – technicians, developers, administrators, engineers and enthusiasts.
Duration – Two days
