Integrate modalities to a DICOM network
Krucom Converter is middleware that converts non-DICOM images
into DICOM Objects and sends the new images to a remote service.
It's the perfect solution when integrating Modalities with no
or limited DICOM capabilities to a DICOM network.
Platform independent
Krucom Converter is platform independent, meaning that it can
run on Unix, Windows and Linux based operating systems without
having to be recompiled.
Automated synchronization of RIS data with
image data
Krucom Converter can be combined with another of our products,
X-List, to synchronize RIS data with
image data. This solution is suitable for older equipment that
has limitations handling patient and examination data. Examples
of situations where Krucom Converter/X-List resolves problems
are:
- The modality has no Worklist functionality and cannot receive
RIS data automatically.
- The modality can only handle a limited number of attributes.
- Limited attribute length, e.g. the patient name field only
supports a maximum of 20 characters.
- RIS data is in the wrong field and needs to be mapped to an
appropriate one.
- Support for European characters (å, ü, è,
æ, ç).
X-List has an innovative algorithm that can automate the synchronizing
of studies from Krucom Converter with RIS data, reducing the need
to manually match them together.
